The Kawasaki Eliminator 500, launched in India at Rs 5.62 lakh, debuted overseas in mid-2023.
The bike features a new 451cc parallel twin motor derived from the Kawasaki Ninja 400 engine.
The motor has a 6.8mm longer stroke, a larger airbox, and bigger 32mm throttle bodies for more torque.
Peak power is 45hp at 9,000rpm, and peak torque of 42.6Nm arrives at 6,000rpm.
Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox with a slip/assist clutch.
The Eliminator 500 uses a new chassis with dual rear shocks for an old-school cruiser look.
It has an 18-inch front wheel, a 16-inch rear wheel, and dual-channel ABS standard brakes.
With a low seat height of 734mm, the Eliminator 500 appeals to shorter riders.
Like the Kawasaki Vulcan 650, it features customisable handlebar and foot peg setups.
Weighing 176kg, the bike is much lighter than the 226kg (US-spec) Vulcan.
As a CKD import, its closest rivals include the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 and the Benelli 502C.
