Airlines like IndiGo and Air India Express have launched their regular operational airline services from Ayodhya Airport to major Indian cities like Delhi, from January 6, 2024 onwards. Many more are expected to commence soon.
IndiGo’s Ahmedabad-Ayodhya regular flight services was flagged off by UP’s CM, Yogi Adityanath on Jan 11, 2024 It will be flying thrice a week.
IndiGo’s regular commercial flight services between Delhi and Ayodhya commenced from Jan 6, 2023. This flight departs from Delhi at 11:55am and arrives at 01:15pm in Ayodhya. The return journey is from 01:45pm to 3pm.
Air India Express is to commence regular flight services from Delhi to Ayodhya from January 16. The flight will depart from Delhi at 11:00am and arrive at 12:20pm in Ayodhya. The return journey will be from 12:50pm to 02:10pm.
With a right time drop, the passengers of Air India Express will get to travel from Delhi to Ayodhya in just 80 minutes.
Air India Express also announced operation of direct flights from UP’s Ayodhya to Bengaluru and Kolkata, starting Jan 17.
The first Bengaluru-Ayodhya flight will depart from Bengaluru at 08:05am and arrive at 10:35am in Ayodhya. The return journey will be from 03:40pm to 06:10pm.
The first Ayodhya-Kolkata flight will depart from Ayodhya at 11:05am and arrive at 12:50am in Kolkata. The return journey will be from 01:25pm to 03:10pm.
IndiGo is also to launch flights from Ayodhya to Bengaluru, Kolkata and Chennai, post the inauguration ceremony of Ram Mandir on Jan 22.
IndiGo’s Mumbai-Ayodhya regular commercial flight services will commence from Jan 15.
Besides Air India Express and IndiGo, SpiceJet also plans to launch flights to Ayodhya from major Indian cities soon.
