Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, who is set to make her film debut soon, has purchased farm land in Thal village in Alibaug for ₹12.91 crore
The June 1 purchase reportedly includes a 1.5-acre agricultural land along with 2,218 sq ft of structures on it. Khan paid a stamp duty of ₹77.46 lakh, according to IndexTap.com.
Thal is a 12-minute drive from Alibaug town. Her father also reportedly owns a sea-facing property in Thal, with a swimming pool and a helipad.
Suhana, 23, signed her first brand endorsement in April with a cosmetic giant.
She will be making her debut in The Archies, a film by Zoya Akhtar for Netflix.
Several Mumbai celebrities have vacation homes in Alibaug including Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli and industrialist Gautam Singhania.
Alibaug became a preferred buy after Ro-Ro boats, connecting Mumbai to the place, came into picture. The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link sea bridge linking Sewri to Nhava Sheva is expected to boost rates in the place.
Bungalows in Alibaug are spread across one acre to 10 acres and are priced between Rs 8 crore and Rs 70 crore depending on the location, local brokers told Moneycontrol.
