Royal Enfield Himalayan 452: Key facts about upcoming adventure bike

Royal Enfield will be launching the new Himalayan 452 on November 7, 2023. The motorcycle is likely to come with a new liquid-cooled engine, a 6-speed gearbox, and off-road enhancements.

Sherpa 450 Engine

The Sherpa 450 engine, a first-time liquid-cooled setup in a Royal Enfield motorcycle, is likely to churn out 40 bhp of peak power and 40 Nm peak torque.

6-Speed Gearbox

For the first time, Royal Enfield may offer a 6-speed gearbox in its single-cylinder lineup, enhancing Himalayan 452’s high-speed touring capabilities.

USD Front Forks

Himalayan 452 will be the second Royal Enfield to get USD front forks after Super Meteor 650, ensuring better handling and structural rigidity.

TFT Instrument Screen

Himalayan 452 may feature a new circular TFT instrument screen that supports Google Maps, music controls, telephony controls, compass and more.

LED Lights

Himalayan 452 will be the first RE with LED tail lights integrated into its rear turn indicator housings. It also features LED headlights.

Touring Credentials

With a tall windscreen, comfy seating, and ample luggage provision, Himalayan 452 is equipped for fatigue-free riding and long tours.

All-New Motorcycle

Himalayan 452 is a completely new motorcycle with a new frame and components, reflecting Royal Enfield’s perfected adventure tourer formula.

Fierce Competition

The new model is likely to go up against the like of Triumph Scrambler 400X, Hero’s Xpulse 440, and KTM’s upcoming 390 Adventure and 390 Enduro.

Colour and Variants

Likely to be available in 5 colours, Himalayan 452’s pricing is under wraps but is expected to be around ₹2.5 lakh to ₹2.7 lakh.
