India vs Pakistan in World Cup semi-final is still a possibility

India were the first team to reach World Cup semis and are guaranteed the top spot

They will face the 4th placed team in the World Cup semi-final

Four teams are still fighting for the 4th spot in group stage

For Pakistan to qualify, they need to first win vs England with a big margin to boost NRR

They also need New Zealand, Afghanistan and Netherlands to lose their matches

If every team secures a win then Pakistan will need to have a better NRR than them

New Zealand currently have the best NRR among the four teams

If Pakistan lose then they will mostly be out unless other teams also lose

Even in such a case Pakistan may still be eliminated on NRR
