5 Indoor Plants That Grow In Water

Many indoor plants can be grown by propagating a cutting in water. Here are five indoor plants that can grow in water.

Begonia

The thick, succulent stems of begonia can grow in water. Roots can take a couple of months to form.

Lucky Bamboo

Lucky bamboo is popular because of its ability to grow in low light. It can also grow in water and you can use a layer of pebbles to stabilize the stems of the plant.

Pothos

It is a trailing vine with pointed, heart-shaped green leaves. It can grow over a foot in a month in water.

Dracaena

Dracaena can also grow in water. Take a stem cutting from a healthy Dracaena and remove all leaves below the water line. It thrives well in indirect light.

Arrowhead Vine

Arrowhead Vine's leaf structure changes as it matures. It can easily grow in water. Cut a healthy and mature stem of the plant and put the cut end in the water.
