Google held its annual developer conference, Google I/O 2023, on May 10, and showcased several new products and updates.

Android 14 is the latest version of Google's mobile operating system. It features a new design, new features, and improved performance.

Users can add texts and widgets. They can also create a wallpaper with emojis, though Google has improved the experience with some fluid animations.

Google has not yet announced a release date for the stable version of Android 14, but it is expected to roll out in August 2023.

All the new Pixel devices are powered by Tensor G2 SoC, but only Pixel 7a is coming to India.

A toned-down variant of Pixel 7 and successor of Pixel 6a. The Pixel 7a promises better camera performance and efficiency with upgraded hardware.

Google also unveiled its first folding smartphone, which competes against the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold.

Originally unveiled in October 2022, the Pixel Tablet's price, launch date, and specifications are now official.

The new Pixel 7a is priced at Rs 43,999 and the sale has begun on Flipkart. The Pixel Fold $1,799 (roughly Rs 1.47 lakh) and the Pixel Tablet costs $499 (around Rs 41,000).

Gmail already supports some AI features, but the new 'Help Me Write' AI feature would compose emails in seconds.

Google introduced Immersive View in select cities to let users get a 3D view of the area. Maps will soon add Immersive View for routes, to let users "visualise every segment of a route" before they go.
