Telangana Assembly Election 2023: Voting date, key seats and more

Telangana is all set for a three-way race between the BJP, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, which is currently in power, and the Congress in the upcoming assembly elections. Here’s all you need to know ahead of the elections.

Polling for the 119-member Assembly will be held on November 30. The result for the same will be declared on December 3.

The voting will begin from 7am and will close at 6pm in the state.

The state has approximately 3.26 crore eligible voters with Serilingampally having highest numbers of voters (7.32 lakh) & Bhadrachalam has the lowest voters (1.49 lakh).

Around 2,290 candidates are in the race to contest the seats in the Telangana elections.

Stronghold of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Gajwel holds a special place in Telangana politics. BJP has fielded MLA and former minister Eatala Rajender from this seat.
