IPL 2024 Auction: Indian capped players who could go unsold

A total of 1,166 players including the likes of Mitchell Starc will go under the hammer on 19 December in Dubai

While the focus will be on youngsters, franchises could also eye some capped Indian players in the auction

However, some of the capped Indian players are at risk of going unsold. We take a look at five such players

Kedar Jadhav played just two games for RCB in IPL 2023 and lack of game time in IPL over the years may not justify his base price of Rs 2 crore

Karun Nair too could be at risk of going unsold. Nair played just three games for RR in IPL 2022. Despite being named replacement for injured KL Rahul at LSG in IPL 2023, Nair failed to get a game

Hanuma Vihari has played just three seasons in the IPL since making his debut in 2013. His last season came with Delhi Capitals in 2019, having played just two matches

Varun Aaron was part of GT's title-winning campaign in IPL 2022, but played just two matches, taking as many wickets

Dhawal Kulkarni has been an out-of-favour cricketer in the IPL  in recent years, despite having started his IPL career with a flourish in 2008
