Google Unveils Its ChatGPT Rival Gemini

Google has finally released its own ChatGPT rival that can be tested on smartphones.

Google's Gemini AI chatbot looks to compete with ChatGPT which is the de-facto AI product in the market.

Gemini will be powering the likes of Google Bard, and help improve video and imagery on smartphones.

Google has announced Gemini 1.0 which comes in Ultra, Pro and Nono variants.

The first two models power Google Bard while Nano will be available through the Pixel 8 Pro smartphone.

There are benchmark tests between Gemini and ChatGPT which claims the former outperforms with a higher score.

Google confirmed that Gemini will also be available in Chrome and Duet AI soon.

The company is taking longer time to release Gemini Ultra after it completes safety checks.
