Gautam Gambhir: A look at former India batter's past heated exchanges with opponents 

On Wednesday, Gautam Gambhir was embroiled in a fresh controversy after getting into an argument with Sreesanth during a Legends League Cricket match 

This wasn't the first time Gambhir found himself in the middle of a controversy on the field 

We take a look at past such on-field controversies involving Gambhir 

During an IND vs PAK ODI match in Kanpur, Gambhir was involved in a heated exchange with Shahid Afridi after the India batter collided with Afridi while taking a quick single 

In 2010, Gambhir was involved in a fight with Kamran Akmal during an IND vs PAK match in the Asia Cup. MS Dhoni had to intervene to stop the fight between the two 

IPL 2013 witnessed the first chapter of a feud between Gambhir and Kohli. After KKR dismissed Kohli, Gambhir seeingly said something that offended Kohli and a fight eventually began 

In IPL 2016, Gambhir was once again involved with Kohli in a fight. Gambhir had aimed a throw at the non-strikers' end with Kohli placed there, but the re was hardly any chance of running him out. Gambhir lost his cool and that led to an altercation between him and match officials 

The latest chapter in the Gambhir vs Kohli saga came in the IPL this year. Kohli had a verbal duel with Naveen ul Haq during an RCB vs LSG game and after the game Gambhir intervened, getting involved in a heated exchange with Kohli
