Can Sun damage your skin even in winters?

UVA Rays: These rays are present throughout the year and can penetrate the skin more deeply

UVB Rays: UVB rays are responsible for causing sunburn and can contribute to the development of skin cancers

Outdoor Activities:  Engaging in outdoor activities, such as skiing or snowboarding, increases your exposure to UV rays

Lack of Sunscreen Use: People tend to be less diligent about using sunscreen during the winter months, as they may associate sun protection with warmer weather

Protective Clothing: Wear clothing that covers your skin, including long sleeves, pants, and a wide-brimmed hat

Sunglasses:  Protect your eyes by wearing sunglasses that block both UVA and UVB rays

Seek Shade:  When the sun is strongest (usually between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.), try to stay in the shade as much as possible
