City in Meghalaya declared most polluted in 2023, not Delhi or Mumbai

The Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA) unveiled the rankings of the most polluted cities in India for the year 2023.

Among the top 50 most polluted cities, Bihar dominated the list with 19 cities, while Haryana and Rajasthan, had 8 cities each. Take a look at 2023’s most polluted Indian cities based on annual average PM10 concentration.
