Times Square to Eiffel Tower: Global celebrations for Ayodhya's Ram Temple ceremony

As the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya approaches on January 22, the excitement has crossed borders, with nearly a dozen events planned across the globe to celebrate this historic occasion.

Here's an overview of the events scheduled worldwide

Nationwide celebrations across the US

Mukesh Aghi, President and CEO of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), revealed that almost a dozen events are set to take place across the United States. 

Devotees in New York will assemble at Times Square on January 22, while in Washington DC, the VHP has organised a car and bike rally at the Shri Bhakta Anjaneya Temple on January 20.

Mauritian govt's recognition

The Mauritian govt announced a 2-hour special break for Hindu public officers on Jan 22, allowing them to participate in local events marking the 'Pran Pratishtha' of Shri Ram in Ayodhya.

PM Modi's involvement in Ayodhya ceremony

Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to attend the ceremonial installation of the idol of Shri Ram on Jan 22.

Tesla musical light show in Maryland

The VHP of America organised a Tesla musical light show in Maryland, with over 150 cars, on Jan 14. Synchronised to the tunes of 'Jai Shri Ram,' it showcased the creativity of the Hindu community.

Billboards across the US

Over 40 billboards featuring Lord Ram and the Ram Temple have been erected in over 10 states in the United States.

Global Rath Yatra in Paris

In Paris, a Ram Rath Yatra will be carried out from Place de la Capelle to the iconic Eiffel Tower, featuring chanting of 'Shree Ram Dhun,' devotional songs, cultural programs, and prasad distribution.

Prasad distribution across America

After January 22, prasad will be distributed in temples across America, starting from Boston, further extending the celebrations.

Australia to join the festivities

In Australia, programs will be organised in Western Sydney and Melbourne, along with events in Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and New South Wales.

Africa's involvement

In Africa, car rallies and other programs are planned in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Mauritius, Ghana, Nigeria, and Mozambique.

Similar events are planned in Buckingham, Bankok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Bali, underlining the universal resonance of this historic event.
