Masala Bread Toast Recipe

Are you bored of having regular sandwiches for breakfast? Here's an easy recipe to make masala bread toast for breakfast.

Ingredients

01 White/Brown bread 4 slices

02 Onion (chopped) 1

03 Tomato (chopped) 1

04 Capsicum (sliced/chopped) 1/2

05 Carrot (grated) 1

06 Green chillies (chopped) 3

07 Coriander leaves (chopped) 1/4 cup

08 Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp

09 Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

10 Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp

11 Garam masala 1/2 tsp

12 Butter or Ghee for toasting

13 Salt (According to taste)

Mix finely chopped onions, tomatoes, capsicum, grated carrot, green chillies, and chopped coriander leaves in a bowl.

Step 1

Now, add cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, and a pinch of salt to it.

Step 2

Mix everything thoroughly to make the masala.

Step 3

Take a slice of bread and spread butter or ghee evenly on one side.

Step 4

Place the mix masala on the buttered side of the bread slice, ensuring it covers the entire surface.

Heat a flat pan or tava over medium heat.

Step 6

Place the prepared bread slice on the pan, masala side facing up.

Step 7

Allow it to toast until the bottom side turns golden brown and crisp. Press it gently with a spatula for even toasting.

Step 8

Now, flip the bread slice to toast the other side until it reaches the same delightful crispiness.

Step 9

Transfer the masala bread toast to a serving plate. Garnish with a sprinkle of chopped coriander leaves.

Serve the toast hot with ketchup, green chutney, or curd.
