Indian Players With  Most Test Hundreds Against England

We start with a tie between Indian batting greats Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar at 7 centuries.

Dravid boasts a better record, attaining the statistic in just  21 matches.

Whereas it took Tendulkar 32 games to score 7 Test tons against England.

In second place, we have former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin with 6 centuries.

From 1984 to 1996, Azharuddin put up 1278 Test runs against England an average of 58.09.

Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli and Dilip Vengsarkar are tied in third place.

Pujara scored 5 tons against England in just 27 matches.

Kohli needed one match more than Pujara but has a much better average at 42.36.

Vengsarkar required 26 games to produce 5 centuries against England.

The fourth place is held by  Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar and Gundappa Vishwanath at 4 tons.
