Hero MotoCorp’s first-ever 400cc bike for India, the Mavrick 440, is set to make waves in the market.

The Mavrick 440 is poised to compete with motorcycles like the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Triumph Speed 400.

The Mavrick shares the same platform as the iconic Harley Davidson X440, thanks to a strategic partnership.

The Mavrick is powered by the same air-/oil-cooled, 440cc, single-cylinder engine as the Harley-Davidson X440.

The Mavrick has slightly lower peak torque than the X440, and features a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.

The Mavrick uses the same main frame as the X440, but opts for a simpler 43mm telescopic fork up front.

The Mavrick rolls on 17-inch wheels at both ends, with a ground clearance of 175mm.

The bike will be available in three variants: base, mid, and top, each with different features and color options.

Bookings for the Hero Mavrick 440 begin in February, with deliveries starting in April 2024.
