Republic Day 2024:  A look at PM Modi’s fashionable turbans since 2015

This year, on the 75th Republic Day, PM Modi wore a multicoloured 'bandhani' turban with yellow as the dominant colour. Yellow is considered sacred and represents Lord Ram.

Last year, during India's 74th Republic Day celebrations, Prime Minister Modi donned a polychrome turban in the Rajasthani style. The turban was paired with a black bandhgala and white trousers, along with a white stole.
