Imran Khan sentenced to 10 years in prison: A look at other cricketers who were jailed 

Former Pakistan cricket captain Imran Khan was jailed for 10 years on Tuesday by a Pakistan court. He was jailed for a case relating to leaking of state documents, called the Cipher Case 

Imran Khan, who had also served as the Prime Minister of Pakistan from 2018 to 2022, was already serving a three-year sentence for his involvement in a corruption case 

We now take a look at five cricketers who have been previously sentenced to prison 

In 2013, S Sreesanth had been arrested by the police for his involvement in the 2013 IPL spot fixing scandal. 

Navjot Singh Sidhu was also arrested in 2022 for his involvement  in a road rage  case in 1988 where a person lost his life 

Former India cricketer Suresh Raina was also arrested in 2020 for flouting COVID-19 protocols 

In 2000, Mohammad Azhauddin was banned for life from cricket in a match-fuxing controversy. And although his ban was lifted in 2012, he had to face legal charges 

In 2015, spinner Amit Mishra was arrested by Bengaluru police for assaulting a woman in a hotel room
