Red Bull team principal, Christian Horner, has been advised to step down from the post, following an internal investigation against him.

He is alleged of inappropriate behaviour with a colleague and as per sources, solid evidence supporting the accusations exists.

The 50-year-old adamantly denied the accusation, as reported in Dutch newspaper, De Telegraaf.

The issue has been going on for a while and the advisory has come directly from Red Bull, and not just the racing team.

Horner has served as Red Bull's Formula 1 team principal since 2005, marking him the youngest to hold such a position.

Under his leadership, Red Bull clinched their maiden Constructors' Championship in 2010, boasting 6 Constructors' and 7 Drivers' Championships to date.

Christian Horner's annual salary is reported to be around £8m (Rs 83.4 cr), as per reports from PlanetF1.

His estimated net worth, as of 2023, stands at approximately £40m (Rs 417 cr), making him the highest-paid team principal in Formula 1.

His tenure dates back to the time when the drinks brand, Red Bull acquired what used to be the Jaguar F1 team.

Horner transitioned to his current role after retiring from racing at the age of 25, accumulating diverse experiences over 19 years.
