Easy Curd Rice Recipe to Try At Home

Curd rice is a staple dish for lunch or dinner in South Indian households. Try this curd rice recipe to make this fulfilling meal.

Ingredients Rice - 1 cup Water - 3 cup Curd - 2 cup Milk - 1/2 cup Carrot - 1 Green chilli - 1 Ginger - 1 tsp Salt - 1 tsp Coriander leaves - 1 bunch Oil - 2 tsp Mustard seeds - 2 tsp Chana dal - 1 tsp Urad dal - 2 tsp Curry leaves - 2 bunch Red chilli - 2 tsp Hing - 1/2 tsp

Step 1 Add rice and water together, and pressure cook it.

Step 2 Mix the pressure-cooked rice a bit to make it soggy.

Step 3 Add curd and milk to it and mix well.

 Step 4 Put carrot, green chilli, ginger, salt and coriander leaves. Stir the ingredients thoroughly.

Step 5 Now. take a pan, heat and pour some oil in it.

Step 6 Add mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal, curry leaves, red chilli and hing together to make a tadka.

Step 7 Saute them well.

Step 8 To serve, put the curd rice in a bowl and pour the tadka over it.
