How To Make Soft Rotis At Home?

Producer:  Swati Chaturvedi

Gather whole wheat flour, water, and a pinch of salt.

Mix flour, water, and salt to form a soft, pliable dough.

Allow the dough to rest for at least 15-20 minutes.

Divide the dough into small balls, and roll each into a smooth, round shape.

Roll the dough evenly, applying gentle pressure for uniform thickness.

Preheat a tawa on medium heat. Place the rolled roti on the tawa, flip when bubbles appear, and cook both sides until golden brown spots form.

Press the edges with a cloth or spatula to encourage puffing.

Brush with butter for extra softness and flavor.

Enjoy soft rotis with your favorite curries or accompaniments.
