How To Make Bread At Home

Gather flour, yeast, sugar, salt, water, and optionally, milk, butter, or eggs.

Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water; let it sit until frothy.

Combine flour and salt; add yeast mixture, knead into a smooth dough.

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and slash the top of the dough.

Bake bread for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.

Remove bread from pan and cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Slice and enjoy your homemade bread with butter or your favorite toppings.
