Hit the road: Countries where you can drive with an Indian licence 

Most states in the US allows the use of Indian driving licence for the period of one year from the day of entry into the country. The document should be in English. 

USA

In Australia, some regions, including New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, and Australia Capital Territory, allow the use of an Indian licence for a year, while others, such as northern Australia, only allow it for three months.

You can drive in Germany for six months with your Indian driver's licence. Make sure you follow the local traffic rules because people in Germany drive on the right side of the road, whereas Indians drive on the left.
