He had hauls of 62, 72, 56 and 54 wickets in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2021.
Ashwin is also the only Indian who has scored a century and picked up five wickets thrice.
Ashwin’s spin partner Ravindra Jadeja has achieved the feat twice.
Ashwin is tied with Anil Kumble for most fifers and 10-wicket hauls.
Both have 35 fifers and eight 10-wicket hauls each for India.
The right-arm off-spinner currently has the fourth-most ‘Player of Match’ awards in Tests.
He is only behind batting legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Virat Kohli.
Ashwin is the fastest to scalp 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450 and 500 Test wickets for India.
He is currently second to Anil Kumble for most Test wickets in an Indian jersey with 507 scalps.
