Husqvarna’s Svartpilen 801: Neo-retro bike replacing 701

Husqvarna officially unveils the 2024 Svartpilen 801, replacing the 701 last offered in 2020.

European Arrival

The Svartpilen 801 is expected to hit European markets from June 2024.

Power Unleashed

The 801 is powered by a 799 cc, LC8C, DOHC parallel-twin engine, offering 105 bhp at 9,250 rpm.

Torque Mastery

The engine delivers a peak torque of 87 Nm at 8,000 rpm.

Unique Persona

Sharing components with the mid-sized KTM Duke, the 801 strikes its own stance.

Neo-Retro Design

The 801 borrows styling cues from the Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen range, offering a subtle, classier aesthetic.

Efficient Performance

Husqvarna claims extended service intervals of 15,000 km and fuel economy of 22.3 kmpl.

Advanced Suspension

The bike features top-quality WP Apex suspension, with adjustable fork and rear shock.

Safety First

The electronics package includes cornering ABS, traction control, three ride modes, and an optional Dynamic Pack.

India Launch?

There’s no word yet on an Indian launch, but hopes are high considering the popularity of the KTM 790 Duke.
