 Safdarjung Tomb

Slightly hidden by trees and a police checkpost, the Safdarjung Tomb is easy to pass past on your way to Dilli Haat or the luxurious Lutyen's Delhi. This late 18th-century monument is located at the intersection of Lodhi Road (about 500 metres from Lodhi Gardens). As it's usually empty, it's usually peaceful to visit.

Purana Qila

Purana Qila was constructed by Sher Shah Suri following his victory over Humayun, the Mughal emperor, and his takeover of the city. Aside from the walls and gates, the Qila-i-Kuhna Masjid, Sher Mandal, and a stepwell are the only structures still standing in the complex.

Mirza Ghalib Ki Haveli

Former home of famous poet Mirza Ghalib in the 19th century, Ghalib ki Haveli has been turned into a historical landmark in Chandni Chowk. The Haveli provides insight into the poet's lifestyle as well as a reminder of Mughal architecture. The side walls are engraved with his couplets, and the walls are decorated with images of the late poet's lifestyle.

Tughlaqabad Fort, formerly referred to as the robust fort, was constructed in 1321 by Ghiyasuddin Tughlaq, the first emperor of the Tughlaq Dynasty in Delhi. The stronghold was constructed to resist the Mongols' onslaught against the Tughlaqs.

Agrasen Ki Baoli

Agrasen Ki Baoli is a historic stepwell in New Delhi, India, measuring 60 metres in length and 15 metres in width. The Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act of 1958 made the site, which is situated on Hailey Road close to Connaught Place in Jantar Mantar, a protected monument, according to the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
