Producer: Peuli Bakshi

1. Bucket of Water Test

Naturally ripened mangoes sink in water, while artificially ripened ones may remain suspended.

2. Mango Pulp Colour Difference

Artificially ripened mangoes may have uneven or patchy pulp color compared to the uniform colour of naturally ripened ones.

3. Smell Test

Naturally ripened mangoes emit a sweet, fruity aroma, while artificially ripened ones may lack this property.

4. Spot test

Look for brown spots on mangoes, as naturally ripened ones tend to have them, while artificially ripened ones may have white or no spots.

5. Juiciness Test

Naturally ripened mangoes are usually juicier compared to artificially ripened ones.
