Delhi Airport has been named the best airport in India and South Asia by airport evaluator Skytrax

Skytrax has certified Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport as a 4-star airport.

This year, however, it lost the title of India’s cleanest airport to Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport.

“The facilities throughout the airport offer a good degree of comfort – however, some areas of cleanliness and maintenance are weak,” says Skytrax.

Spread over 5,106 acres, IGIA is also India’s busiest airport. It has three terminals.

Terminal 3, or T3, is generally considered the most modern terminal and serves international flights.

The airport offers several facilities like lounges, an array of bars and eateries, shops, cab services, prayer room, smoking zones and more.
