RR vs MI: Jazball Returns With a Bang

Rajasthan Royals' Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a brilliant century (104 off 60) vs Mumbai Indians at the 38th IPL match of 2024.

Despite rain interruptions at Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaiswal performed exceptionally well with the bat on Monday.

Alongside Jos Buttler, Jaiswal propelled RR ahead of the Duckworth-Lewis par score after rain disrupted play post powerplay.

Jaiswal's aggressive play began to shine in the fourth over when he targeted Gerald Coetzee, hitting a six on the first ball followed by consecutive boundaries.

Jaiswal faced the spinners well too, frequently hitting boundaries off Mumbai's Mohammad Nabi.

By the ninth over, he reached his half century and continued to build, ultimately recording his highest score of the season.

Afte Buttler was dismissed, Jaiswal maintained his focus and built a significant 109-run partnership in just 65 balls, steering RR towards a potential victory.

This century marked Jaiswal's second in IPL, with his first also against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede in the previous year.
