Easy Bougainvillea Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients:
Bougainvillea flowers (edible variety), lemon, water, sugar or honey, ice cubes.
Preparation:
Rinse bougainvillea flowers thoroughly to remove any dirt or insects.
Infusion:
Boil water and pour over the flowers in a heatproof container, steep for 10-15 minutes.
Strain:
Remove the flowers from the infused water using a fine sieve or cheesecloth.
Sweeten:
Add sugar or honey to the warm infusion, stirring until dissolved.
Lemon Juice:
Squeeze fresh lemon juice into the sweetened infusion, adjusting to taste.
Chill:
Allow the lemonade to cool in the refrigerator or over ice.
Serve:
Pour over ice cubes and garnish with a slice of lemon or a few fresh bougainvillea flowers
