Ingredients Soy chunks or granules - 1 cup Gram flour (besan) - 1/2 cup Yoghurt - 1/4 cup Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tbsp Cumin powder - 1 tsp Coriander powder - 1 tsp Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Salt to taste Vegetable oil for frying Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

Step 1 Boil the soy chunks in water for about 5–7 minutes until they are soft. Drain the water and squeeze out excess moisture from the soy chunks.

Step 2 Take a bowl, and add gram flour, yoghurt, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt to make a smooth marinade.

Step 3 Coat the boiled soy chunks evenly with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavours.

Step 4 Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry marinated soy chunks until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Step 5 Remove the fried soya chaap from the pan and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

Step 6 Garnish it with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve it with mint chutney or any dipping sauce.
