IPL 2024 Playoff Race: MI, PBKS Out; Other 8 Fight For Top 4 Spots

PBKS lost to RCB at Dharamsala to end their playoff hopes.

With 8 points from 11 games, MI are in no contention to reach the playoffs.

Both Punjab and Mumbai can wrap up the season with 12 points.

The remaining 8 teams will be vying for the top four spots. 

KKR and RR are leading the league table with 16 points.

CSK currently have 12 points with three matches in hand. 

Besides the reigning champs, SRH are also targeting 18 points. 

If SRH and CSK lose any of the remaining games, other teams will benefit.

RCB must win all their matches to reach 16 points. 

LSG can also secure 16 points by beating DC and MI.

DC remain in the playoff race with 12 points in as many matches.

If multiple teams finish with 16 points, net run rate will be come into play.

Bottom-placed GT can accumulate 14 points by winning the last three games.
