As the temperatures rise, nothing beats the cool, flavorful kick of raita. This traditional yogurt-based dish is the perfect accompaniment to spicy dishes. Here are some easy to make raita recipes you can try.

Grate or finely chop cucumber and mix it with yougurt. Add roasted cumin powder, salt, and chopped mint leaves. For extra flavour, temper with mustard seeds, curry leaves, and red chili.

1. Classic Cucumber Raita

Add chopped mint leaves and green chili to smoothly whisked yogurt. Sprinkle in the roasted cumin powder and salt, then mix thoroughly.
