Delicious Tomato Jam Recipe To Try At Home

Ingredients Tomatoes: 1 kg Green chilies: 2 Sugar: 1/4 kg Salt: 1/4 spoon Cardamom powder: a pinch Ghee: 2 spoons  Bark: 1 Cashew

Add enough water and tomatoes to a vessel, and let it boil. Now, drain the water and let the tomatoes cool down.

Now, peel the tomatoes. Put it in a jar with two green chillies and salt and grind it. Now, use a filter paper to strain it. Add grated tomato paste to a pan.

Let it cook. Tip: wait till you get a nice smell.

After boiling it well, add sugar and cardamom to the paste.

Put ghee in a saucepan and add cashew nuts to it.

You can serve it hot as a dip or keep it in a glass jar.

Do not add water while grinding tomatoes. Adding water will take more time for the jam to thicken.

In case the paste is watery and takes too long to thicken, you can mix cornstarch with water.
