Yummy Eggless Atta Cake Recipe

This light, fluffy, delicious, and soft cake is perfect for a light dessert post-dinner or as an evening tea-time snack. Here's an easy and delicious recipe for making eggless atta cake at home.

Atta/whole-wheat flour - 2 cups Shakar or gur - 1 cup Baking powder - 1/2 tbsp Soda bicarbonate (meetha soda) - 3 tsp Cinnamon powder - 3 tsp Refined oil - 3/4 cup Curd - 1 cup Water (as needed) Walnuts, raisins and figs (as required)

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C.

Step 1

Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.

Step 2

Blend the curd and oil in another bowl. Then mix the dry ingredients into this bowl and fold well.

Step 3

Bring it to a dripping consistency, adding water if needed.

Step 4

Oil the bottom of a baking dish and bake at 170 degrees C for 1 hour 15 minutes while checking at intervals.

Step 5

Cut and serve when cool.
