Samosa is a quick and easy snack option to have with your tea. Try this easy recipe for making samosa in an air fryer.
Maida - 1 cup Salt - As per taste Oil - 2 tbsp Water - As needed Boiled and mashed potatoes - 1 cup Peas - 1/4 cup Onions, finely chopped - 1/4 cup Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp Ginger-garlic paste - 1/2 tsp Garam masala - 1/2 tsp Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp Haldi - 1 tsp Oil - For brushing

Take a bowl, and combine maida and salt. Add 2 tbsp of oil and mix well until the mixture becomes crumbly.
Step 2
Gradually add the water and knead the mixture to form a smooth dough. Cover it and let it rest for 15-20 mins.
Step 3
Now, heat some oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add chopped onions and ginger-garlic paste, and saute until golden brown.
Step 4
Add peas, mashed potatoes, garam masala, coriander powder, haldi, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 mins. Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool.
Step 5
Cut the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a thin oval shape. Cut the oval into half to make two semicircles. Take one semicircle, wet the edges with water, and form a cone by bringing the edges together.
Step 6
Press to seal the cone. Fill the cone with a spoonful of the potato mixture and seal the top edge by applying some water.
Step 7
Place the samosas in the air fryer basket and lightly brush them with oil. Air fry them at 190 degrees C for 12-15 mins or until they turn golden brown.
Step 8
Once done, remove from the air fryer and serve hot!
