Unique records set this Lok Sabha election as Modi set to be third-time PM

From highest winning margin to Narendra Modi’s third term, the 2024 Lok Sabha election has achieved a number of milestones. Take a look:

India set a world record with 64.2 crore voters, 1.5 times that of all G7 countries combined and over 2.5 times that of the 27 EU countries.

Highest voter participation 

₹10,000 crore was seized during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections compared to ₹3,475 crore in 2019. This is nearly three times the value seized in the previous general elections.

Highest election-time seizures

In Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, NOTA is the runner-up. BJP candidate Shankar Lalwani got 11,60,627 votes, while NOTA got 2,02,212 votes.
