Simple Raw Mango Dal Recipe

 Peel and dice 1 raw mango. Rinse 1 cup toor dal.

Boil dal with 3 cups water, mango, turmeric, and salt until soft.

Heat oil/ghee in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and a pinch of asafoetida. Add chopped onion, green chilies, and curry leaves.

Sauté until onions are golden. Add tadka to cooked dal. Simmer for a few minutes.

Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice or roti.
