Farida Jalal alleged that Yash Chopra & Karan Johar failed to keep their promises to her.
The actress said Yash Raj Films didn't give her opportunities after Dil To Pagal Hai.
She revealed that Yash Chopra had promised her more work but that never happened.
"If you cast somebody else instead of me, it hurts. YRF didn’t honour their commitment," she said.
Karan Johar was aware of the situation and reached out to her for Student of the Year, Farida Jalal said.
Although she agreed, the promise did not materialise, leaving her feeling hurt and overlooked.
“I’m very hurt, I’ll say it loud and clear. At a certain point, an actor also needs to be held," she expressed.
She added that even SRK had disappointed her by not offering any roles as a producer.
"When Shah Rukh was planning to produce films, I expected to be offered a role in his first film."
“I’m hurt, I’m hurt. It’s a deep wound, it’ll always hurt,” she admitted.
