Baked Butter Chicken Recipe

Mix 1 cup yogurt, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp garam masala, and salt. 

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place marinated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.

Sauté 1 chopped onion in 2 tbsp butter. Add 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp garam masala.

Stir in 1 cup tomato puree and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add 1 cup heavy cream and 1 tbsp sugar. Cook for 5 minutes.

Add baked chicken to the sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Stir in 2 tbsp butter and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with naan or rice.
