ICICI Bank to discontinue these credit card charges from July 1

ICICI Bank has informed customers of revisions to various credit card services. The same will take effect from July 1, 2024.

Here's a breakdown of the charges that will be discontinued

Charge slip request

Effective July 1, a fee of ₹100 per charge slip request will not be there.

Cheque/cash pick-up fee

ICICI Bank will not charge a fee of ₹100 per pick-up for cheque or cash collection services.

Dial-a-draft transaction fee

Customers availing of the Dial-a-Draft service will not have to pay a fee equivalent to 3% of the draft amount or a maximum of ₹300, effective July 1.

Outstation cheque processing fees

A fee equivalent to 1% of the cheque value or a maximum of ₹100 will not be charged for outstation check processing, starting July 1.

Duplicate bank statements

Customers requesting duplicate bank statements for a three-month period will be not be charged ₹100 per statement, effective July 1

Points to be noted...

Effective July 1, a standard fee of ₹200 will be applicable for all card replacements.

Users of the Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card will experience a shift in their rewards program from June 18.

– Rent payments made through the card will no longer accrue reward points, marking a departure from the existing structure. – The card will continue to offer a 1% discount on fuel surcharge payments, with no restrictions on rewards or expiration dates.

Reward points will not be earned on Equated Monthly Instalment (EMI) transactions and gold purchases.
