New-Gen BMW’s 5 Series Long Wheelbase In India: All Things To Know
The new-gen BMW 5 series will launch in India in the long wheelbase model on July 24, 2024.
The new-gen BMW 5 Series LWB is longer in overall length with a stretched wheelbase.
The China-spec model measures 5,175 mm in length. So far, BMW sold the 5 series LWB in China, while in India for the first time.
There will be a little difference between the BMW 5 Series standard version from the LWB. The headlamps, taillights, and grille will be carried over while the bumpers receive subtle changes.
The cabin will be carried over on the new 5 Series LWB. Users can expect to see features like a panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control, leather upholstery, dual-tone, and more.
In this series, engines are likely to include 2.0 litre and 3.0 litre petrol and diesel engines with mild hybrid tech.
The new-gen BMW 5 Series LWB will also take on the Audi A6 in the segment.
