Tata Sierra EV To Launch By FY2026: What We Know So Far

Tata Motors plans to launch a new electric vehicle in India.

The new Sierra EV will be unveiled alongside the first model in the automaker’s Avinya lineup.

It is 4,150mm long, 1,820mm wide, 1,675mm tall, and has a 2,450mm wheelbase.

The Sierra EV debuted as a concept at the 2020 Auto Expo.

Tata has now officially stated that the Sierra EV will be introduced before March 2026.

It is expected to use the brand’s Acti. EV architecture, like the Punch EV and the new Harrier EV.

The vehicle will most likely be based on Tata’s Gen2 EV platform.

It will have distinctive features like squarish wheel arches, curved-over rear-side windows, and a high-set bonnet.

The design will pay respect to the original Sierra of the 1990s.

The SUV is estimated to be priced between Rs 25.00 lakh – Rs 30.00 lakh.
