How to Make Restaurant-style Onion Rings At Home

Cut two onions into 1/4 inch (1/2 cm) slices.

Then, separate the chopped onions into rings.

Mix 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/3 cup of cornstarch and 1/2 tsp of baking powder in a bowl.

Add salt, garlic powder and black pepper. Stir it well.

Slowly add water and whisk until it gets smooth and thick.

Keep 2 cups of breadcrumbs ready in a separate bowl.

Dip the onion rings in the mixture and coat it with the breadcrumbs.

Repeat the process with all of the onion rings.

Heat oil in a large pan and fry the onion rings until golden and crisp.

Serve it with mint or tomato sauce.
