Team India’s Solution To T20I Leadership Conundrum

Hardik Pandya is expected to lead India in the T20I series against  Sri Lanka.

Pandya is likely to wear the captaincy armband in T20I cricket permanently.

It has been learnt that he is completely fit for the 3-match T20I series.

Pandya is understood to have informed the BCCI about his availability for the series.

Pandya will not feature in the ODI series due to personal reasons.

The India all-rounder was Rohit Sharma’s deputy at the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Pandya also led the Gujarat Titans to the IPL title in 2022.

He played a crucial role for India at the T20 World Cup.

In India’s 8 T20 World Cup games, he bowled 25 overs.

Pandya has been in top form since his injury at the ODI World Cup last year.
