French Swimmer Leon Marchand Continues His Record-Breaking Paris Olympics Spree

Leon Marchand clinched one more gold in 200m individual medley at the Paris Olympics.

The French swimmer claimed the gold with a timing of 1:54.06.

It was just 0.06 seconds short of Ryan Lochte's world record.

Marchand is an Olympic record holder in 400m medley, 200m breaststroke, 200m butterfly and 200m medley.

The French swimmer earned gold in every single race in Paris.

Marchand also set a Games record in all the events.

Marchand became the first French athlete to win four individual golds at a Summer Games.

He also is the third male swimmer to achieve this feat after Michael Phelps and Mark Spitz.

Marchand won the 400 Individual medley last Sunday.

The 22-year-old won both the 200 butterfly and 200 breaststroke on Wednesday.
