Chicken Pan-Fried Momos Recipe

All-purpose flour - 2 cup Salt - 1/2 tsp Warm water - As required

Ingredients for the dough

Minced meat - 1 cup Vegetables (cabbage, onions, carrots, etc.) - 1 cup Garlic - 2 Ginger - 1 tsp Soy sauce - 2 tbsp Sesame oil - 1 tbsp Salt and pepper - As per taste Oil - For pan-frying

Combine the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add warm water while kneading until a smooth, elastic dough forms. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for some time.

Step 1

Mix the minced meat, finely chopped vegetables, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

Divide the dough into small portions and roll out each portion into thin circular wrappers. Place a spoonful of the filling in the centre in one wrapper. Fold the wrapper in half, creating a half-moon shape, and pinch the edges together to seal.

Step 3

Heat a non-stick pan, and add oil. Arrange the momos in a single layer, ensuring they don't touch each other. Let them cook until the bottoms turn golden and crisp.

Step 4

Flip the momos. Pour a small amount of water into the pan and cover it. Allow the momos to steam for some time. Enjoy them with your favourite chutney.
