Indian Men’s Hockey Teams Win Consecutive Olympic Medals In Paris

Indian men’s hockey team won a bronze medal on Thursday.

India came from a goal down to beat Spain 2-1.

Captain Marc Miralles earned a lead for Spain against India.

Harmanpreet Singh scored twice for India at the Olympics.

"I feel great. We create history again," the India skipper said.

This victory marked India’s successive medal wins for the first time since Munich 1972.

Overall, it was the Indian men’s team’s 13th hockey medal at the Olympics.

Prior to Paris, the Indian side had won 8 gold, a silver and 3 bronze medals at the Summer Games.

India bagged a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, held in 2021.

In Tokyo, India broke a 41-year drought by winning the bronze.
