Shah Rukh Khan is set to receive the Pardo alla Carriera award.
The actor will be honoured at the 77th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland for his contribution to cinema.
SRK has been awarded at the global level several times in the past.
Grevin Museum in Paris issued gold coins in his honour in July this year.
The French government conferred its Légion d’honneur on the actor in 2014.
In 2011, SRK was awarded the UNESCO Pyramide con Marni award for involvement in philanthropic work.
He was also awarded Wissame Al Kafaa Al Fikria, the highest honour in Morocco, in 2012.
The recognition of his art continued with the Crystal Award in World Economic Forum in Davos in 2018.
Shah Rukh received Malaysia’s Darjah Mulia Seri Melaka award in 2008.
He received the first Global Icon Award at Sharjah International Book Fair in 2022.
